The above information is from a small notebook kept by Arter Kissee at the time he performed these marriages. (The first marriage listed was performed by J. A. Thomas. The book was donated by Arter's great grandson, Samuel, in March 2007 to the genealogy collection of the public library in Forsyth and a copy of these pages was provided to me so they could be made available for access online through the Taney county website of USGenWeb. The notebook documents marriages taking place at Kissee Mills in Taney county between 1908 and 1919..
